Presenter Assistant is compatiable with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. Presenter Assistant uses the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and the Microsoft’s free Powerpoint Viewer 2010.

You NEED POWERPOINT VIEWER – not Powerpoint

PLEASE NOTE: Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft Powerpoint Viewer are two different products. Whilst Microsoft Powerpoint allows you to create Powerpoint presentations and view them, Microsoft Powerpoint Viewer (which is free) is designed to show Powerpoint presentation only. Microsoft Powerpoint Viewer IS NECESSARY for successful usage of the Presenter Assistant. Please do not try to use the Presenter Assistant without having first installed Microsoft Powerpoint Viewer 2010.

You can download Microsoft’s free Powerpoint Viewer 2010 directly from Microsoft’s website. This LINK should take you to the correct download location for Microsoft Powerpoint Viewer 2010. If this link fails, please enter the phrase “Microsoft Powerpoint Viewer 2010″ into your preferred web search engine and follow one of the links to a genuine Microsoft website.

The Presenter Assistant installation process will automatically install Microsoft’s .NET Framework 3.5 if it is not already on your computer.

!! Please ensure you have installed the latest version of Powerpoint Viewer before proceeding !!!

When you click on the Install link below, an executable program will be downloaded to your computer. Depending on your operating system, you may be asked to confirm what you wish to do with this file. You need to run (or open) the file in order for the Presenter Assistant and associated Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 to install.

Please note, depending on how up-to-date you have kept your PC with Microsoft Windows Update, and the speed of your internet connection and PC, the installation process could take a long time. Should it take a long time to install, this will be due to your machine needing a significant number of updates from Microsoft. The Presenter Assistant application itself is actually very small in size.

Your computer might need to restart during the installation process – depending on which updates Microsoft determines necessary. After restarting your computer, you might need to return to this web page and click on the Install link again to complete the process.
